ShuHaRi Doshi Kai Karate
ShuHaRi Doshi Kai Karate originated in Japan. It is a medium to high impact martial art and includes defense techniques and weapons training.
Combat Hapkido
Combat Hapkido, also known as Chun-Tu Kwan Hapkido, is a Korean defensive martial art.
Students will learn a variety of strikes, kicks, joint locks, pressure points, ground survival and disarming techniques. Combat Hapkido is low impact, making it ideal for men and women of all ages because physical strength and athletic ability are not a requirement.
MS2, or Modern Situational Science
MS2 is a bridge in self defense. It is not a martial art. Instead, it is a combination of techniques and strategies to improve personal safety and help students recognize and avoid potential dangers of the modern world. Classes include exercises for de-escalation of aggression and minimizing risks in physical attacks.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline involving slow, flowing movements that help bring you better stability, balance, and a healthy lifestyle. For centuries, it has been a source of health, vitality, and longevity for millions of people in the Far East. The health benefits of practicing Tai Chi include increased flexibility, strengthened muscles and tendons, and overall sense of well-being, vitality, and inner calm. Tai Chi is low impact but is still classified as an aerobic exercise, as the movements create gentle cardiovascular benefits.
