OPEN HAND SELF DEFENSE

Summer vacation is almost here! Remember as long as you wear an Open Hand Self Defense shirt you do not have to wear your uniform top. IF you need a t-shirt, there is order slips up on the bulletin board. Fill it out and give it to Grand Master Morris with payment. Prices for the shirts are on the order slip.

What an awesome Hapkido seminar we had in April. We were honored to have 4 Professors here teaching. We would like to give a big thanks to Professor Eric Deveau, Professor Doug Boyd, and Professor Sage Lehr, and, of course our, own Professor Morris for hosting such a great event.

Now it's time to get ready for our next workshop: TAI CHI. This will be on June 6th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Get signed up ASAP!

June 16th is the next testing date. Youth starts at 4:30P.M. Adult testing will begin at 7:30 PM.

Friday, June 19th, we will have our promotion ceremony/potluck/cookout at Morrison Rockwood State Park, starting at 4:30 PM. This is for everyone!! Please watch for the sign up sheet for what everyone is bringing. Sensei Tammy will be getting that ready soon. The school will provide the HOT DOGS, BRATS, AND BUNS.

Here are a couple of reminders of upcoming dates when we will be closed: May 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th, there will be no classes. Enjoy your Memerial Day weekend, and the start of summer vacation.

We will be closed June 19th, of course, for our picnic. June 25th, we will be closed for the Morrison Pop up Market. In July, we will be closed 3rd and 4th and August 6th for another Pop up market. During the week of the Fair, we will be closed August 17th to the 23rd
