The instructors at OHSD have been practicing martial arts for over 30 years and instructing for over 10 years. During this time, we have seen many situations in life from abuse to disabilities. It is our goal to empower you with self-defense and situational skills, so that you can always make the best of whatever situation you find yourself in.
Meet the Instructors
Grandmaster Christopher J. Morris
Grandmaster Christopher J. Morris holds a 9th degree Black Belt in ShuHaRi Doshi Kai Karate, thus earning himself the rank of Grandmaster. He is also a 6th Dan, making him a Senior Master and Professor in Combat Hapkido, a Kun Khru in Muay Thai, and has experience in Tai Chi instruction.
Master Mary Nogowski
Master Mary Nogowski holds a 5th degree Black Belt in Combat Hapkido, making her a master; a 2nd degree Black Belt in ShuHaRi Doshi Kai Karate; and a 1st degree Black Belt in Muay Thai. She is also a certified instructor in “TRU,” which is a women’s self-empowerment and preservation course.
